The Cambrian Hotel - Adelboden

This place suits me perfectly! The spa, indoor pool, and restaurant meet all my needs. On my first visit, the staff guided me to local attractions, which I still appreciate. I highly recommend the massages. I'll be back for Christmas!

The bed of mine was a little hard.

the spa was the best. We can borrow the DVDs from the reception (free of charge). The view was perfect. Breakfast was good and fancy.

The hotel staff were hardly smile, that really presents the lack of hospitality including service of staff, should be improved. This hotel would be really nice place to go if you don't expect high service from hotel staff.

The cambrian suite was spacious with three balconies showcasing amazing mountain views. We loved the delicious breakfast that featured locally sourced goodies, and the spa was a perfect escape with both indoor and outdoor pools that offered a tranquil atmosphere.

Breakfast buffet could be better

We had a deluxe queen room and it was contemporary and brand-new. The location was strategic, around 10-15 minutes walk from Ski Lift Adelboden. The staff was well-trained and responsive, thoroughly enjoyed this place.

Great staff and wonderful breakfast and lovely spa

Book a time slot for the spa in advance to enjoy a less crowded experience. It makes for a much more relaxing visit.

Really nice staff, always welcoming and gave us all information we needed! The Spa was nice and relaxing, and we went offseason and had it pretty much to ourselves! The Hotel was beautiful and the Lobby with fireplace and the friendly staff made you feel really comfortable! Some things that really makes a plus; a waterbottle in your room, comfortable robs, free DVD:s to rent, heated skiiroom, GREAT breakfast! We didnt have the best weather for skiing, but didnt mind at all spending more time in the hotel! Good value for the money!!

We had problems getting the temperatur right in our room. It was HOT.

The indoor pool and the breakfast and the location were all excellent and the staff were very courteous and helpful.

Booked.net should be careful in advertising this hotel, because on your original website it stated all south facing rooms and when we booked a de-luxe room, the hotel tried to offer us a south facing room at CH 50.- extra per night. We settled this by email with you at Booked.net and they finally gave us a south facing room without extra charge.

Facilities - spa

Dinner took one and a hlaf hour to be served (even children had to wait for simple course). Charging 5 CHF for transfer to ski lift is utterly ridiculous, also charging for waffles and gluwine during the afternoon is something that hotels of this price an class do not do ...

The Cambrian offers fine views of the mountains and a relaxing modern atmosphere. My room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a comfortable seating area, coffee machine, and a lovely balcony. The staff provided really good service, always willing to assist. The breakfast buffet was varied and satisfying, while the spa amenities, including the indoor and outdoor pools, were perfect for unwinding after a busy day of work.

The indoor pool was smaller than expected.

Frindliness of staff incredibly good. Real nice with our baby as well. Spa nice/new/airy. We felt truely comfortable!

Heating didnt work properly - rooms were a little cold.

The outdoor pool is overcrowded, with a small size that limits comfort!!! Room maintenance needs attention, as the towel dryer was malfunctioning .
